This month's comedy showcase comes fresh from the comedy workshop where all the toys are slightly broken.

Every December, Santa sends out cheerful helpers to spread joy across the land. Except that some of them tripped over the assembly line. Some of them got lost on the way to the toy shop. And a number of them were definitely not approved by the North Pole's HR.

Welcome to Awkward Elf, this month’s comedy showcase at The Ideal Theater: a night devoted to the lovable oddballs, the socially lopsided, and the holiday helpers who probably shouldn’t be left alone with scissors. These performers aren’t here to spread cheer; they’re here to survive December one joke at a time, and hopefully take you with them.

So grab a seat, grab a drink, and brace yourself. Because nothing captures the true spirit of the season quite like a group of adult humans just trying to get through it.
